The Ventures was an all-girl junior marching and maneuvering corps based in Kitchener, Ontario. Formed in 1972, the corps was active through at least 1994. The Ventures finished first or second in DCI Class A or All-Girl competition 11 times, the last in 1993 (Class III). They also had the distinction of appearing in the movie "Follow that Bird" in 1985. [DCW, 1/04, p.3] |
