The Belles of St.Johns were an all girl feeder corps for the St.Johns Girls of Brantford,Ontario. Formed in the fall of 1974 and became competitive in 1976. In 1979 the corps was merged into the senior corps, leaving just one drum corps in the city of Brantford. The age was 7yrs -12 yrs. as when you turned 13 you graduated to the senior corps. In 1981 the corps changed their name and became the Brantford Girls Drum and Bugle Corps to better recognize the city. And in 1985 changed to a coed unit and went back to the name of The St. Johns Drum And Bugle Corps in which is still active today. |
