The Stardusters Drum & Bugle Corps was formed in 1962 and currently has 103 members. Titles include Mid-American Drum & Bugle Corps Circuit (1977-78). Musical repertoire this year includes "March Militaire Francaise," "The Music and the Mirrors." "South Rampart Street Parade," "William Tell," and "El Cato Treiste." Instructional staff includes:
Horns--Bob Yokam and Ed Dowling; Drums--Tommy Ross; M&M--Sandra Dempsey; Color Guard--Margie Perniciarro and Joe Sanchez; Drum Major--Kevin Bradley; Guard Captain--Laurie Perniciarro; Corps Director--Peter Perniciarro; Business Manager--Frank Gerken.

"Stardusters Drum and Bugle Corps...
The Stardusters are beginning their 6th year of competition. The instructor staff will consist, with two new instructors, Truman Crawford and John Van Tassell and with local talents of Bob Dempsey, horns; Dick Filkins (Florida) and Bob Crossin, drums; Louis Gilmore, M$M; and Clarence Thorson, color guard instructor. Plans for this year's out of state contests include a tentative contest in Illinois, contest in Iowa, and participation in VFW, American Legion and CYO in Boston. The corps will field this year 36 horns, 19 drums, and 30 girls in color guard."
